Stupid Sexy Flanders

I grew up religiously watching the Simpsons, and being a big fan of classic “cheesecake-style” pin-ups, I knew I had to mesh them together for a piece. One of my favorite moments from the series is Ned Flanders tantalizing Homer with his immortal quote, “Feels like I’m wearing… nothing at all!”

I originally conceived this design as a Valentine’s Day greeting card, but I kept getting feedback from customers that they were planning to hang it as art on their wall. So when I started producing art prints and postcards of it, they became extremely popular. This helped me realize the value of diversifying my merchandise so that one design can translate into multiple different products.
